Imagine how fascinating it is when you see your own video or photos as background while singing your favorite music. Well, I will give you the basic steps in making a video karaoke It is a tedious work but it is fun when you do it. For those who are willing to do it, here is the basic steps:

1. Prepare your favorites song or music. There are two files associated with this, one with vocal, the other one is non-vocal. There are many software application for free that will remove the vocal of the song. I found lot of free software that will be used to remove the music's vocal like Wavosaur, KaraokeAnyghing and Winamp Plugin: AnalogX Vocal Remover.

4. Plot your favorites music and videos to your editing software. Every video editing software is capable of making vide karaoke. PowerDirector, Premiere, Pinnacle, Sony Vegas and others. There are also other software specific on this purpose like AV Video Karaoke Maker, Video Karaoke Studio 2, Karaoke Video Creator and Karaoke Builder Studio. Of all of these my favorite is Sony Vegas Pro 10. It's very easy to use.

5. Plot the lyrics.

6. Synchronize the lyrics to every words of the song. Each editing software has a different way to synchronize the lyrics. Synchronization means that once a certain word in sang, its equivalent words in lyrics is highlighted also.

7. For Vcd output render the file as mpeg1 format. For DVD output, render the file as mpeg2 format.

1. Copy VCD karaoke files to a specific folder in your pc.

2. Install Sony Vegas Pro 10 and Sony DVD Architect software, if you have installed it already, then run the Sony Vegas. This will be the application we will use in converting VCD to DVD karaoke.

3. From Sony Vegas Pro 10, open the first VCD file you have copied to your pc. As example we use the file “Bad Romance.dat”. Once the file is open, video track and audio track will be displayed in a timeline.

Lot of karaoke songs are given free online. Some of them have good quality, with music and on-screen lyrics which are ready to play on your computer. Why it was given free? It is because that is the great way to attract more traffic to their site when they are advertising for their product. The most common product that is usually advertised is the product that is directly related to karaoke such as converter application, midi player, ripper application and some plugins. But the problem here is how to find a site that offers free karaoke songs for download.

How To Make Video Karaoke Using Sony Vegas

Making Karaoke Video on Sony Vegas is simple and easy if you know the basic steps. It just needs a little hard work in the beginning but once you familiarize the steps, you can do a lot of video karaoke as fast as you can. Just follow the simple steps below.

1. Open the Sony Vegas and create a video karaoke project.

2. Insert two audio tracks for the project, one is for non vocal audio, the other
is for the audio with vocal. Put the non vocal audio to audio track 1 and the
audio with vocal to audio track 2.

3. Play the audio with vocal and create a marker for every word in the song.

4. Insert Video Track to the project. Put the video or photos to the video track.

5. Add four video tracks to the project. One for the normal text on the Top Line, one for the highlighted text on top line, one for normal text on the bottom line, and one for the highlighted text on the bottom line.
